A homeowner about to spend five figures on a new roof does something most roofers underestimate: they check. They read the about page, search the company name with the word "reviews", look for a warranty in writing, and sometimes call the workers' compensation board. Roofing.Bio builds the pages that answer those checks with facts, so your company looks exactly as solid as it is, and no more.
We are a marketing and business consulting service. We don't put anyone on a roof. Our work is the story, the proof and the review habits around your roofing business.
Why roofing buyers dig deeper than most
Roofing is a high-ticket, low-frequency purchase, and the homeowner usually has no way to judge the work itself. They can't see under the shingles. So they judge the company instead.
That makes three questions decisive:
- Who are these people? A named owner with a real history beats a logo and a stock photo of a crew.
- What happens if something goes wrong? Coverage, registration and a clear warranty answer this.
- What did other customers experience? Reviews, ideally many, recent and answered.
Most roofing websites answer all three with the same five words: "licensed, insured, fully warrantied, trusted." Every competitor says it too, so it proves nothing. Specifics prove something.
What we build
Five pieces of work, usually in this order. Each has its own page under our services.
- Owner story. An about page written from an interview with you: how the company started, what you learned, how you run a job. Every year, number and name is one you can confirm.
- Credentials page. Registration, workers' compensation, insurance and any manufacturer standing, each linked or attributed to the body that can confirm it.
- Warranty page. Your workmanship warranty and the manufacturer's material or system warranty explained side by side, including what voids them.
- Review strategy. A routine for asking every customer for an honest review, built around Google's rules and Canada's anti-spam law.
- Estimate proof pack. A short profile link sent with each quote, so your proof sits next to your price.
A worked example: what one checkable page is worth
Say your average residential re-roof is worth $14,000 and you close 30% of the quotes you give. If you quote 100 jobs a year, that's 30 jobs, or $420,000 in work.
Now suppose a clearer profile moves your close rate from 30% to 33%. That is three more jobs, or about $42,000 in revenue from the same number of quotes, with no extra ad spend. Plug in your own numbers; the point is that small changes in trust are worth real money on large tickets. We can't promise any particular change, but we can show you how we'll measure it.
The rules we work inside
Honest profiles aren't just good manners. Several sets of rules apply, and we design around them:
- Google's review policies forbid paying or rewarding people for reviews, reviews from employees or others with a conflict of interest, and selectively asking only happy customers.
- Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) covers commercial texts and emails. Implied consent after a purchase is time-limited, and every message needs identification and an unsubscribe option, as ISED explains.
- The Competition Act treats misleading warranty claims, and misused endorsements, as deceptive marketing.
We summarise these to explain our approach. We don't give legal advice; for that, talk to your lawyer.
Proof from our HVAC work
Our published case studies come from heating and cooling companies, so we show them as results from our HVAC work, not roofing results. The most relevant one here: GasBoilers.ca, the gas-boiler division we built for CANRO Heat, works across 26+ BC communities and has earned 5.0★ from 76+ Google reviews. The same discipline of asking every customer, every time, carries straight over to roofing. More on the results page.
Who is behind it
Roofing.Bio is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, BC. Ali Sedighi, who holds an MBA in Technology Management, leads it; his 17+ years in digital marketing include building 150+ live HVAC websites. Our parent brand for trades work is Trades.Agency. How it works
Gather the paper trail
We list what you can document: registration, workers' compensation status, insurance, manufacturer standing, warranty wording and your review history. Gaps get noted, not papered over.
Write it so a stranger can verify it
We interview you, draft the owner story, credentials page, warranty page and review routine, and send every claim back to you for sign-off against its source.
Talk to us first
No forms and no sales script. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions
What is Roofing.Bio?
Roofing.Bio is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for roofing companies. Think of it as the roofing desk of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group: Canadian, run out of Vancouver, British Columbia, with Ali Sedighi, MBA, at the head.
Do you do roofing work or inspections?
No. We are not a contractor and we never install, repair, inspect or service a roof. We write and manage the marketing that explains your company to the people deciding whether to hire it.
Will you write reviews for us or buy them?
Never. Google prohibits paid or incentivised reviews and reviews from people with a conflict of interest. We build a routine that asks every real customer for an honest review, which is slower and far safer.
Can you make our warranty sound better than it is?
No, and you wouldn't want us to. Canada's Competition Act treats a misleading warranty claim as a deceptive representation. We make your real warranty easier to understand, which is usually more persuasive anyway.
How much does it cost?
This work runs under the Trades.Agency plans, which start at $1,999 per month month-to-month or $1,499 per month on annual billing, plus GST/HST by province. The first 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses.
Do you work across Canada?
Yes, in all 10 provinces and 3 territories. Our region pages explain the bodies a homeowner might use to check a roofer in each place, and how that changes the profile we write.
